Dubai Polo Academy
The academy operates a fast track learning program of approximately ten individual lessons that will equip any individual with all the skills necessary to participate in an instructional chukka.
Following this, participants are encouraged to participate in the intermediate chukkas that take place during the first portion of the new season before graduating as fully fledged polo members.
Learn to Play – A comprehensive 3-day course where we pair you with a pony to suit your level of ability. You will learn the fundamentals of the game, the necessary riding skills required and the mallet swing technique to enable you to participate in the end of course chukka finale.
The Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club and Coach, Steve Thompson regularly invite international polo players to the club for pre-season training and to participate in polo matches.
Working in conjunction with hotels and local tour operators, The academy offers a fun introduction to the game during the Mini Hour and Half Polo experience. Designed specifically for tourists and holiday makers who do not have a lot of time, this entertaining experience is available for bookings 3 times a week and is suitable for groups of 2 to 10 people.
