Indya by Vineet is a striking, modern day Indian dining room.
India like you've never experienced before - Indya By Vineet is the latest restaurant to be launched by Chef Vineet Bhatia, who in his 33 years, has opened in excess of 25 restaurants across three continents.
Arguably his most exciting concept yet, Chef Vineet takes you on a journey, telling a story with every dish on the experimental menu, of adventures East and West, where new ingredients meet classical cooking styles to present the impressive, buildable menu with dishes starting from AED 40.
Inspired by a young and vibrant India, Indya offers finger-licking plates designed for sharing, employing colloquial cooking techniques in a menu arranged by the sourcing of ingredients, tapping into the elements - from the earth, from the land, from the sea and from the Halwai - making the typical starter, main and dessert format redundant.
The eclectic menu, comprising of more than 70 unique dishes will be served a la minute, true to Indya's DNA of fine dining undone, to be enjoyed by foodies and culinary newbies alike.
Personal plates, with special stories such as the Quinoa-crusted Fish Cakes and the Lamb Tikki Cheese Melt, are just a hint of what's to come on the invigorating menu.
Chef Vineet explained ‘Indya is an opportunity to have fun with Indian food, to challenge perceptions and introduce new ingredients to age-old dishes.
I guess you could liken it to an expression of my roots and respectfully breathing new life into the food I grew up with'.
The colour-splashed dining area is balanced by the rattan chairs and stone-bricked walls, with The Omnipresent Ganesha, the deity icon from Vineet's birth town of Mumbai, serving as a focal design accent and reiteration of the restaurants' vibrant Indian roots.
Bhatia's nod to new and young India translates to a truly interesting gastronomic experience, with Indya by Vineet serving diverse regional food in an unpretentious, inspiring environment catering to 90 diners at any one time.
Indya by Vineet is the latest addition to Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa's impressive portfolio of restaurants, and is his second F&B outlet in Dubai after Indego by Vineet.
The decorated chef, who counts restaurant residencies in London, Geneva, Bahrain, Mauritius, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Mumbai, is no stranger to Dubai, having acclaimed multiple awards for his first UAE venture Indego by Vineet at Dubai's Grosvenor House Hotel.
