Cancellation Policy:
Please be advised that The Els Club operates a strict 48 hour cancellation policy which will be applied to the credit card in the event of a no show or cancellation within the 48 hour period.
Pace of Play:
The Els Club observes the following pace of play regulations. It takes 4 hours 20 minutes to play the course. Maintaining this pace of play is imperative and is the responsibility of the player with the lowest handicap of the group.
Players are expected to pick up their ball if scoring more than 3 shots over par. If the group falls more than one and half holes behind, they may be asked to move forward.
Dress Code:
We request that attire be consistent with current accepted golf fashion.
Preferred:
- Collared Polo or Mock Neck Golf Shirt,
- Tailored Shorts/Pants/ Golf Skirts
- Golf Shoes (soft spikes only)
- Trainers accepted on the Driving Range

Enjoy some pre-round delights in the 261 Restaurant or head to the expansive practice area to hone your swing before teeing off on a true test of desert golf, safe in the knowledge that this will be one of your finest golfing experiences ever.

Visitors are welcome at The Els Club every day of the week and can enjoy a variety of rates and tee-times designed to enhance your experience, whether you wish to play before work in the morning light or fancy a later tee-time, we will always endeavour to fulfil your every requirement.
The Els Club is a course designed to be played with buggies, although we do permit walking at various times of the year. Your buggy is fully stocked with tees, towels, waters and the latest in GPS equipment.
Soft spikes are compulsory on the golf course and if needed, our locker room attendants will instal these free of charge. We kindly request you take no more than 4 hours and 20 minutes to complete your round and the Course Marshals are always on hand to assist you in any way they can.
There is a halfway house, located after the 6th and 14th holes, which has a healthy selection of sandwiches, pies, energy bars and various drinks should you feel the need to re-energise.
Toilets are located at the halfway house and at the 4th tee.
Practice Facilities
The Els Club boasts some of the best practice facilities in the region, complete with fully lit driving range, open until 9.30pm, a magnificent short game area, with 2 different pitching greens, 3 bunkers and numerous angles from which to sharpen your game and 2 putting greens.
We use only the finest Taylor made practice balls, ensuring that your session delivers the most accurate and best results.
The extensive practice facilities at The Els Club are backed up by the professionals from the Butch Harmon School of Golf, who are on-site and will happily guide you on the process of organising private lesson, take supervised practice and custom fit your clubs.
