Safety Measures - Covid 19
Due to the current pandemic issues, our safety measures have obviously needed to change but the magic and history of the QE2 and the theatre remain.
Theatre by QE2 is committed to providing you with a safe environment in alignment with the UAE COVID-19 safety protocols.
We have reviewed and brought in new operating procedures for Theatre by QE2 as the safety of our audiences, as well as the cast, crew and management is a key priority in these troubling times.
It is no exaggeration to say that we are delighted to welcome you back to the Theatre and hope you enjoy the experience of live entertainment once again!
General Health & Safety Measures: - Temperature checks are required prior to entering the QE2 Hotel; - If you have any COVID-19 symptoms – please do not attend; - If your temperature is high – you will not be admitted to the QE2; - Wearing a face mask is mandatory at all times on the QE2 - even inside the theatre. You may lower your mask to eat or drink items you have purchased on board, but the mask must remain on at all other times; - Please sanitize your hands using the sanitizers provided; - Please keep a social distance of at least 2 metres apart when walking around the ship and on entering the Theatre; - Please stand on the stickers placed on the ground when queuing; - Contactless payments are recommended for all purchases; and - Compliance with the stated safety measures is legally required in all areas within the venue.
Theatre by QE2 Precautionary Measures: - We have limited our seating capacity to maintain social distancing; - Only disposable containers are to be used for food and beverages; - Sanitization routines are implemented throughout the Theatre; - Sanitizers are placed around the Theatre; - All staff will be wearing masks and gloves at all times; - Staff temperatures are checked regularly; and - Staff will maintain high levels of personal hygiene.
