Poetic Strokes presents yet again another soulful event: Ek Lafz e Mohabbat - For the Love of Urdu, an evening of poetry, prose and music with Yousuf Bashir Qureshi known lovingly as YBQ.
YBQ is a walking talking mystery. He carries himself inversely, he sports a knee-length white/black tunic with a wrap-around lungi/dhoti and to add to the look, thick silver bracelets, earthy Crocs and a well deserved "Pagri" (turban) on his head.
He has twinkly eyes and an easy smile.
The performance will be enhanced by a little bit of live sufi music, sung beautifully by Dev Chakraborty and Somdatta Basu.
