McGettigan's presents Picture This Live in Dubai at McGettigan's Souk Madinat on Friday 25 January 2019.
Hailed as the biggest act in Ireland and the nation’s hottest musical export in decades, Picture This come from Athy, Co. Kildare and were formed by singer Ryan Hennessy and drummer Jimmy Rainsford, who previously toured with Ryan Sheridan.
Hennessy and Rainsford are childhood friends and began recording together in October 2015.
Since then, they have been joined by Owen Cardiff on guitar and Cliff Deane on bass.
The duo landed their first big break when they released their song Take My Hand to YouTube.
Having recorded a video on an iPhone, they shared it to YouTube and Facebook where it quickly racked up millions of views. (It now has 5.1 million views on YouTube).
This huge online following led to the duo playing a debut gig in Dublin in April 2016, followed by a nationwide tour, of Ireland.
In August 2016, they released their debut EP which reached number one in Ireland.
They released their debut album a year later which also went to number one and went triple platinum.
The band received the Album Of The Year award at the 2018 Irish Post Music Awards.
A new album, MDRN LV is due to be released in February.
