Austrian born Soprano Bettina Schweiger started her music education at Anton Bruckner University.
She graduated with distinction from the Mozarteum Salzburg under Prof. Barbara Bonney and finished her Master’s degree at the University for Music and Performing Arts.
During this period, she was also accepted into the renowned Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, USA.
Having worked with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Sir Thomas Allen and Placido Domingo, Bettina has performed many notable roles, such as Mimi, Melisande, Rosalinde, Donna Elvira, First and Second lady, Agathe and Sylva Varescu.
Her talent has garnered her multiple awards in many competitions, including “Prima la Musica”, “Ferruccio Tagliavini International Vocal Competition”, “Musica Juventutis”.
Bettina Schweiger is a popular soloist for opera, operetta and german song repertoire both in Austria and abroad and has performed in more than 20 countries worldwide.

Curated by internationally renowned pianist Amira Fouad, Music in the Studio is set in Dubai Opera’s acoustically flawless studio, allowing for a more atmospheric and unmissable experience between the musicians and their audiences.

Music in the Studio is presented by Encore! in partnership with Dubai Opera since 2017 and has offered over 75 musical experiences for the community including masterclasses, workshops, concerts for students, Q & A’s with artists of diverse international backgrounds and rich cultural experiences.
