With a divine sharing menu, top-notch table service and spectacular live music, the Shades of Play Night brunch redefines the brunching experience, offering guests at PLAY the chance to enjoy exquisite food, drink and entertainment in the sublime surrounds of one of the city’s sleekest dining destinations.
Begin your evening with a drink at the bar, surrounded by PLAY’s inherently stylish crowd, before making your way to the elegant lounge area, which oozes contemporary cool.
Low level velvet seating, sultry lighting, an abundance of marble and stunning art fixtures combine to give the space an effortlessly updated retro allure - topped off with magnificent views of the glittering Dubai skyline.
But it’s not just the sensational design and evocative soundtrack that will set your senses on fire. The Shades of Play sharing tasting menu is packed with an array of delicious, exquisitely-crafted dishes, and a selection of premium free-flowing beverages.
Highlights - and there are many - from the 16-piece menu include Pita Surprise, a feather-light parcel of pita filled with lightly seared Wagyu beef and truffle butter; Crispy Duck Salad; Ceviche, with Peruvian corn and lime chili dressing; Crispy Baby Squid with Yuzu mayonnaise and Harissa and Duck Gyoza with miso and chili Ponzu.
Moving on to larger dishes, after a stunning Sushi selection, Spaghetti Carbonara with veal pancetta, Yoghurt-Grilled Baby Chicken and PLAY fries with truffle sauce and freshly grated truffle are nothing less than show-stopping.
Topped off with the chef’s signature selection of sorbets, it’s a sumptuous sharing menu that’s tough to top.
With live saxophonist, violinist and resident DJ, once brunch is over, head back into the buzzing bar to continue soaking up PLAY’s electric atmosphere, before hitting the dancefloor.
