Victoria Montgomery Brown is one woman who has navigated this difficult environment by being transparent in her work and generous with her advice to other women.
Dr Afra Atiq has carved out a unique space in the UAE cultural scene but has also pursued an academic career investigating how women develop their careers online.
Victoria Montgomery Brown is the author of Digital Goddess: The Unfiltered Lessons of a Female Entrepreneur, a guide for businesswomen to succeeding in a world that is still hostile to them.
She is the founder and CEO of Big Think, the knowledge company that makes people and companies smarter and faster through short-form video with the world’s best thinkers and doers.
Afra Atiqis well known as an award-winning Emirati spoken word poet, whose achievements include being the first Emirati to perform at Nuyorican Poet’s Café and Bowery Poetry Club.
She recently completed her PhD in Media and Creative Industries, focusing on promoting female writers in digital spaces.
