Founded by Ayesha Imtiaz in 2007 in Dubai, Poetic Strokes has established itself as a unique platform committed to fostering Art in all its various forms.
Focusing on diverse creative disciplines including art, literature, theatre, film and music; Poetic Strokes has successfully organised numerous exhibitions, plays, book readings, musical evenings, dance performances and poetry recitals showcasing established as well as upcoming artists from the South Asian region.
Dubai has become a cultural capital and Poetic Strokes, by keeping pace with the city’s phenomenal growth in the field of art, aims not only to generate more awareness but also to increase interaction and synergies between South Asia and the UAE, given their historical association and existing links.
With a larger aim of linking communities together through art, music and literature, Poetic Strokes continues to identify and promote local talent as well as invite artists, performers, musicians, poets and writers from South Asia to contribute to the ever-evolving art scene in the UAE and wider Middle East.
